As part of the implementation of the State program for the implementation of the Strategy “Uzbekistan – 2030” in the Year of Support for Youth and Business, approved by the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of March 20, 2024 No. 30/1-2003 for the heads of local executive authorities and higher educational institutions determined to consolidate youth in the “difficult” category.

On May 22 of this year, the First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, Rector of the UWED Sodyq Safoev met with a group of young people (24 people) who found themselves in a difficult life situation.

As S. Safoev explained, the purpose of the meeting was to get to know each other better and help the children solve their problems and find their place in life.

During the conversation, he emphasized that the reforms being implemented in the country in the field of education are primarily aimed at supporting young people and a lot is being done in this direction. But young people also need to appreciate this opportunity and make efforts to achieve success in life.

In an open dialogue, the rector of UWED S. Safoev advised to intensively study foreign languages, master professions in demand on the labor market, and spend meaningful free time.

The meeting participants received answers to many of their questions.

      At the end, the young people got acquainted with the territory of the university, the educational process and its conditions.
