    On March 28, 2025, Mr. Oliver Stolpe, the Regional Representative of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) for Central Asia, Afghanistan, Iran and Pakistan gave a lecture at the Diplomatic Academy at the UWED on the topic: “Key challenges facing Central Asia in the areas of drugs, crime, corruption and terrorism and UNODC ongoing programme portfolio in support of Government`s efforts to address these challenges”.

    Particular attention was paid to strengthening the rule of law and international cooperation in the fight against organized crime.

    The meeting was attended by the faculty and postgraduate students of the Diplomatic Academy’s, as well as students and doctoral students of UWED. The lecture aroused wide interest and active discussion among the audience, which confirms the relevance of the topics raised and the need for further cooperation in the field of regional security.
