UWED hosted a meeting with the President of the Center for South Asian and International Studies
On October 26 this year, the President of the Center for South Asian and International Studies (CSAIS) Syed Khalid Amir Jaffery, who arrived in our country from Pakistan as an observer at the parliamentary elections, visited the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.
The meeting was held at the Institute of Advanced International Studies of UWED.
During the meeting, current geopolitical changes and their impact on the political situation in Central Asia and the Indo-Pacific region were discussed.
During the discussion, the importance of the partnership between Uzbekistan and Pakistan in the context of interregional cooperation was emphasized. It was noted that the two countries can become a link between Central and South Asia, promoting economic development, trade and stability in the region.
The international observer noted that the successful holding of parliamentary elections is an important event and a major political step towards more stable development and prosperity of Uzbekistan.
Following the conversation, an agreement was reached to continue regular contacts between the two think tanks.
