On June 12 of this year, a meeting took place at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy with a delegation from the International Academy of the Arabic Language, named after King Salman, headed by the Secretary General, Dr. Abdullah bin Salih Al-Hashmi.
The guests were received by the First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, Rector of UWED, Sodyq Safoev.
During the meeting, discussions were held regarding collaboration in developing a joint program for a deeper study of the Arabic language.
S. Safayev noted that the Arabic language is not just a means of communication but also a key to understanding the culture and history of Arab countries.
In turn, Dr. Abdullah bin Salih Al-Hashmi emphasized that the Academy is ready for close and productive cooperation in the field of education and culture.
"We are prepared to offer our knowledge, resources, and experience to jointly create an environment for the flourishing of linguistic and cultural exchange," he said.
The program that the parties intend to implement jointly will comply with international standards and will include not only the study of grammar, vocabulary, and spoken language but also a closer introduction to Arab countries. In this regard, there are plans to open an Arabic Language Center at UWED, which will serve as a platform for expanding students' educational opportunities. In addition, there is an expressed interest in enhancing the qualifications of Arabic language teachers and exchanging experiences in this field.
For information, the International Academy of the Arabic Language, named after King Salman, provides a language learning program for non-native speakers of Arabic. The academy's goal is to provide exemplary education for non-Arabic speakers, enabling them to communicate and converse in this language by offering a high-quality program developed in accordance with the best international language teaching standards.
