On June 12 of this year, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy held a ceremony to award gold and silver medals and certificates of excellence to the graduates of the Academic Lyceum at UWED.

The solemn event was attended by the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and UWED, teachers, graduates of the lyceum and their parents.

Opening the event, the First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis and Rector of UWED Sodyq Safoyev welcomed the graduates of the lyceum. In his speech, he noted that in recent years the lyceum has been transformed and reached a new level both in teaching methods and equipment.

"Today, the Academic Lyceum at UWED is rightfully considered one of the most effective educational institutions in Uzbekistan. We are waiting for its best graduates within the walls of our university. We are confident that these ambitious and talented young people will become highly qualified specialists, brilliant diplomats, worthily representing the interests of our country on the international arena," - emphasized S. Safoyev.

The graduates of the lyceum were congratulated by the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhromjon Aloev, noting that their parents have a great merit in their achievements.

The graduates and their parents expressed their gratitude to the leadership of the educational institution and to all their mentors.

During the solemn ceremony, 12 graduates of the lyceum were awarded gold medals, 8 - silver medals, and 49 - certificates of excellence.
