On May 17 of this year, at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, a meeting was held with members of the delegation led by the Director of the Center for Eurasian Studies at the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Secretary General of the Expert Forum on Cooperation “Central Asia – Republic of Korea” Je Sunghun.

The South Korean delegation was welcomed by the first vice-rector for academic affairs of UWED Akram Umarov.

During the meeting, issues of establishing mutually beneficial relations in the field of higher education, including between UWED and the Korean Forum of Experts on Cooperation “Central Asia - Republic of Korea” were discussed.

     Je Sunghoon expressed his readiness to cooperate with the Institute of Advanced International Studies at UWED in developing scientific projects aimed at studying regional problems and opportunities, organizing joint conferences and round tables.
