On March 5 of this year, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy hosted the event "Bravo, diplomat girls", within the framework of the program "Woman is the embodiment of spring", dedicated to the holiday "March 8 - International Women's Day".

The event, organized by the Women's Advisory Council of UWED, was attended by the university administration, faculty, students and pupils of the Academic Lyceum.

The event was opened by the First Vice-Rector for Youth Issues and Spiritual and Educational Affairs of the UWED Odil Yusupjanov with a welcoming speech, in which he spoke about the role of women in society, their contribution to science, pedagogy and youth education. He noted that in Uzbekistan, women have always been given great attention, and today they occupy an important place in politics, management, social and economic spheres. Many women, highly qualified specialists and scientists who make a great contribution to the training of diplomatic personnel, successfully work in UWED.

Within the framework of the event, a competition "Bravo, diplomat girls" was also held. The program of the competition consisted of several stages, during which the UWED diplomatic students demonstrated their versatile abilities.

In the first round, the participants presented their talents, demonstrating the connection between creativity and diplomacy. The second stage was devoted to diplomatic protocol and etiquette - an integral part of the work of a diplomat, requiring a deep understanding of the traditions and subtleties of intercultural communication. The final chord was artistic performances, reflecting the perception of spring, culture and politics through the prism of art. Girls competed in these stages, demonstrating their talents in creativity, knowledge and dance, and were awarded certificates.

In addition, students of the Botir Zakirov National Institute of Pop Arts performed a wonderful concert program for the participants of the event.
