On March 3-4 of this year, at the initiative of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation and the Committee on Religious Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a two-day training seminar on the topic "Education of youth: national values and mass culture" was held at the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan.

The event was attended by chairpersons of women's advisory councils of higher education institutions, psychologists, as well as specialists in education and upbringing.

The purpose of this training is to widely promote the benefits and opportunities created for women in our country, to prepare young people for family life on the basis of national values, to exchange experience in eradicating crime and violence among them, to improve the socio-spiritual environment in educational institutions, to improve the skills and qualifications of the chairman of the Advisory Council of Women and Psychologists.

The event was also attended by the Chairperson of the Women's Advisory Council of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, Professor E’tibor Sultanova. In her report, she emphasized the role of women in the educational process, the responsibility of higher educational institutions for the education of young people, as well as the issues of harmonizing their political consciousness, culture and modern knowledge.

Within the framework of the training seminar, measures were discussed to preserve national values in the education of the younger generation, countering the influence of mass culture, which have a positive impact on the spiritual and moral development of young people. Discussion platforms were also organized to exchange views on new mechanisms and methods of working with women in educational institutions.

As a result of the event, it is planned to develop recommendations for the education of young people and submit them to the relevant organizations.
