On July 16 of this year, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy received a courtesy visit from the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Won Do Yeon.

First Deputy chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, rector of UWED, Sodyq Safoev, met with the high-ranking diplomat.

The parties discussed issues of cooperation between UWED and leading universities in South Korea in the field of education and scientific research.

 S. Safoev wished the new ambassador success in his mission and expressed confidence in further strengthening Uzbek-Korean cooperation and expanding partnership with UWED.

 In turn, Won Do Yeon thanked for the warm welcome and expressed sincere interest in deepening multi-level relations.
