An Intellectual Game “Zakovat” Held Among Students of Higher Education Institutions at UWED
On January 11 of this year, an intellectual game “Zakovat” was organized at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED) under the slogan “DEFENDING THE MOTHERLAND IS A SACRED DUTY!” to mark the occasion of January 14 – Defender of the Motherland Day.
The event brought together students from higher education institutions in the capital, including the Academy of the State Security Service named Amir Temur, the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Public Safety University, the Customs Institute of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Tashkent State University of Law.
The intellectual competition, characterized by intense discussions and debates, saw participants demonstrate not only their knowledge and intellect but also their logical thinking and teamwork skills.
During the event, the First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Work at UWED, O. Yusupjonov, delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of fostering a sense of patriotism among the youth and enhancing their intellectual and moral potential. He highlighted that such events not only provide participants with opportunities for knowledge exchange but also strengthen friendship and collaboration, promote mutual respect for opinions, and develop teamwork skills.
According to the results, the Customs Institute’s team “Legion” claimed first place. The honorable second place was secured by the students of Tashkent State University of Law, while the third place went to another team from the Customs Institute. At the conclusion of the event, all participants were awarded certificates and valuable prizes.
