    First Vice-Rector of UWED Participated in the International on Human Rights and Anti-Corruption

    On December 4-5, 2024, an international scientific and theoretical conference titled «Preventing corruption as a means of protecting human rights and ensuring the effectiveness of public administration: current State and prospects» was held in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. This significant event was dedicated to the anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and International Anti-Corruption Day. 

    UWED was honored to participate, represented by O.Yusupjanov, the First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Enlightenment Work, Candidate of Legal Sciences, and Associate Professor O. Yusupjanov.

    During the conference, critical issues were discussed, including the role of anti-corruption measures in safeguarding human rights, enhancing transparency, and improving governance efficiency. The conversations emphasized global best practices, regional challenges, and innovative approaches to combating corruption. 

    The First Vice-Rector of UWED, O. Yusupjanov, delivered a welcoming speech and drew the participants' attention to Uzbekistan's experience in the fight against corruption, as well as informed them about the ongoing reforms in the country.

    The Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan (APA-PRT) and UWED have agreed to strengthen and expand their cooperation.
