A representative of the Treaty-law Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs held a master class at UWED
On November 15 of this year, Rayan Babayev, a representative of the Treaty-law Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, held a master class at UWED on the topic of "Contractual and Legal Cooperation of the European Union and the Republic of Uzbekistan."
The lesson was organized within the framework of the discipline "European Union Law" for 4th-year students of the Faculty of International Law.
The diplomat introduced the Partnership and Cooperation Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the EU, the main organizational measure for its entry into force and implementation.
A discussion of international legal norms within the framework of relations between Uzbekistan and the European Union took place. In particular, migration and trade agreements, are documents adopted for the purpose of developing the international transport system.
The master class also touched upon aspects related to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In particular, the role of the agreements reached in promoting sustainable economic growth, ensuring inclusive development, and creating favorable conditions for expanding international trade and transport infrastructure was considered.
The representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs answered numerous questions from students regarding the current legal norms of the European Union today.
