On December 26 of this year, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy hosted a festive New Year's event that brought together teachers, staff, and students who excelled in their studies and public affairs in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Opening the celebration, First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Rector of UWED Sodyq Safoev highlighted the achievements of the university staff over the past year and expressed hope for new successes in the future.

As part of the festive event, an award ceremony was held for UMED employees who made significant contributions to the development of the educational process and scientific activities. The best students, who were awarded nominal scholarships, as well as the winners of the intellectual game "Zakovat," were also honored.

Then, a large concert program took place, which included rousing folk dances and popular songs.

At the end of the event, a buffet was organized where participants could chat with each other, share their impressions, and discuss plans for the new year.

The festive event provided an excellent opportunity to strengthen mutual understanding and friendly ties among the university staff and served to create a positive mood on the eve of the new year.
