On April 29 of this year, the honorary president of the Institute for Global Engagement, Chris Seiple, visited the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

During the visit, he had a conversation with Sodyq Safoev, the first deputy chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the rector of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.

During the meeting, the guest said that he welcomes reforms in Uzbekistan, including human rights.

During his speech, Chris Seiple expressed hope that the Constitution, which is being updated by 65%, will be the basis for ensuring the legal rights of the citizens of Uzbekistan.
