    On March 24-26, 2025, within the framework of the discipline Administrative Law, Professor Joseph Cannon, together with the Dean of the Faculty of International Law S. Murataev and Professor of the Department of International Law and Public Law Disciplines, Doctor of Law I. Khamedov, gave lectures for 2nd-year students on the topics "Background and history of administrative law in the United States with particular reference to the  Adminstrative Procedure Act and U.S. Supreme Court decisions", "Recent developments in U. S. Administrative law with particular reference to recent U. S. Supreme decisions, administrative agency actions and U. S. Congressional oversight", "Case studies related to environmental legislation and rule making with particular attention to environmental regulation of national parks, federal lands, and the hunting of wild animals".

     During the lectures, Professor J. Cannon and Doctor of Law, Professor I.Khamedov exchanged views on the differences and similarities in the field of "Administrative Law" between the United States and Uzbekistan, current problems and changes in this field, and provided students with detailed knowledge and understanding.

    At the end of the lectures, students were able to receive a full and detailed answer to their questions from Professor J. Cannon and Doctor of Law I. Khamedov.

    For information. Professor J. Cannon is a specialist in the field of ecology and administrative law, was the U.S. representative to the Committee on Environment and Development of the United Nations Economic Organization (Paris, France). In addition, J. Cannon served as Chairman of the Air Quality Committee of the American Bar Association, as well as a legal adviser to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. He currently works as an adviser to the international law firm "Heideman Nudelman & Kalik, PC".
