On 22 November 2024, the English Department of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy held a workshop on Goal 4 of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): Quality Education. The workshop focused on developing teaching materials and activities that promote inclusive and equitable quality education and lifelong learning opportunities for all.

The workshop aimed to explore the possibility of integrating the SDGs into foreign language teaching and to discuss how to incorporate the SDGs into other subjects, with a particular focus on developing students' critical thinking skills, design skills, and creating a university-wide culture of sustainability.

During the seminar, projects that have already been implemented were presented and teachers shared their experience of how the English Department conducts extracurricular activities related to the SDGs. 

The SDGs provide a broad basis for creating learning materials and activities that encourage students to explore and address the SDGs.
