On October 8 of this year, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy held a “Rector’s Hour” for first-year students of the UWED Academic Lyceum.

The First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Rector of the UWED Sodyq Safoev wished success in their studies to the new additions to the academic lyceum and expressed hope that in the future they will become qualified specialists in their chosen field.

The rector presented the leaders of the 1st year groups with books as a gift for their active participation in the life of the lyceum.

The event included a ceremony to honor eight students of the academic lyceum who mastered all subjects with excellent marks in the 2023-2024 academic year, achieved high results in subject Olympiads, competitions and sports competitions, and actively participated in community work. They were awarded the "Akademik litseyi iftixori" scholarships.

“Rector’s Hour” has become a memorable event that motivates students to succeed in their studies and social activities.
