    On November 20 of this year, the Department of Oriental Languages ​​held an educational and methodological seminar on the topic of “Sustainable Development Goals in Language Education: SDG 13 “Combating Climate Change”.

    During the seminar, topical issues of teaching foreign languages ​​in the context of implementing sustainable development goals were discussed. The participants of the seminar had the opportunity to get acquainted in practice with the methodology of teaching Korean and Japanese languages ​​using the example of organizing practical classes on the topic "Combating climate change: rules for sorting food waste and garbage."

    The teachers of the department got acquainted with modern forms of organizing practical classes in foreign languages, the use of distance learning technologies in the educational process.

    Foreign specialists working at the department shared their experience in organizing practical classes within the framework of implementing the goals of sustainable development.
