On November 13 this year, an online meeting of the professors of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy with the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Singapore was held.

This event was attended by Alisher Kayumov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Singapore, as well as Mirzoumid Khamdamov, Dean of the Faculty of International Economics and Management, Umida Sharipova, Head of the Department of International Finance and Investment, Laylo Tashpulatova, Head of the Department of International Economics and Gavhar Mirhalilova, Head of the International Department of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.

The meeting discussed issues aimed at developing cooperation in the field of science and education.

In particular, directions for expanding cooperation with leading higher education institutions of Singapore in various areas, organizing advanced training programs for the professors of the UWED, implementing joint research projects with universities and research institutions of Singapore, as well as holding conferences, master classes, round tables and co-authored publications were considered.

Measures were agreed to attract specialists from reputable higher education institutions of Singapore to participate in scientific research and the educational process of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.

The diplomatic mission of Uzbekistan in Singapore expressed readiness to provide practical support in the implementation of the above-mentioned programs.
