    Students from Central Asian universities visited the UWED

    On April 7, 2025, students from several leading universities in Central Asia visited the University of World Economy and Diplomacy. The delegation included students from Al-Farabi National University of Kazakhstan, KIMEP University, Narxoz University and Turan University, the Diplomatic Academy of Kyrgyzstan and Kyrgyz National University studying in the field of international relations, as well as representatives of the Goodwill Aqniet Foundation and G.A.N.I. Networking organizations M. Nurmagambetov, A. Kumar and others.

    Within the framework of the visit, foreign students were provided with detailed information about the main activities of the UWED, structural subdivisions, areas of education, international relations, and projects being implemented. At the same time, the university professors organized a lecture on Uzbekistan’s foreign policy and its main vectors, cooperation with the countries of Central Asia.

    In turn, the arriving students shared information about their university and the goals of the visit to Uzbekistan.

    At the same time, an excursion to the University campus was conducted, where students were familiarized with the opportunities created at the university for scientific research and education, as well as the social life of students. UWED students and guests exchanged views and discussed the prospects for further expansion and development of bilateral cooperation between young people.

    Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on strengthening ties between universities of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan, organizing similar visits in the future, and developing cooperation.

The purpose of the visit to Uzbekistan is to establish cooperation with the Republic’s universities specializing in international relations and diplomacy, as well as their students.
