On April 15 of this year, the intellectual tournament “Zakovat” was held at the National Institute of Arts and Design named after Kamoliddin Behzod.

 Women professors and teachers from 7 prestigious higher education institutions took part in the scientific competition. The chairpersons of the Women's Advisory Councils of various universities were invited to the event as judges.

The team of female teachers of UWED took a worthy part in this tournament and took the honorable 1st place.

In addition to UWED, teams from the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology, Tashkent Medical Academy, Tashkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov, Tashkent State University of Economics, National Institute of Arts and Design named after Kamoliddin Behzod and National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek took part in the tournament.

The main goal of the competition is to organize meaningful leisure for women in our country, ensure gender equality and increase women's activity in public life. In addition, this event is aimed at supporting the intellectual interests of women. Thanks to the competition, the participants were able to demonstrate their knowledge and skills, as well as exchange experience with each other. Such events serve not only to increase the intellectual potential of women, but also to further strengthen their role in society.
