The University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED) is delighted to announce the successful completion of the “Uzbekistan, Tashkent, University of World Economy and Diplomacy-Smart Classes Set-Up Project” in partnership with Hankyung National Korean University (HNKU). This initiative, selected as part of the “2023 Gyeonggi-do, Korean Smart Classes Set-Up and Culture Expanding Project”, aimed to elevate the standard of Korean language education at UWED.

Project Highlights:

Provision of cutting-edge equipment for Smart Classrooms

Comprehensive training to enhance the capabilities of Korean language teaching methods using digital devices

Engaging K-Content lectures

Support for the Korean language club activities

Through the collaborative efforts of UWED and HNKU, the project has successfully established a high-quality Korean language education environment at UWED, solidifying the bond between the two esteemed institutions.

The project featured informative sessions and special lectures focusing on effective Korean language teaching methods using digital devices. Various aspects of language acquisition were covered, including grammar, speaking, listening, writing, and reading skills. Emphasis was also placed on organizing classes through online platforms. A special lecture on Korean language education using K-content showcased the integration of popular culture elements like K-POP, K-drama, YouTube, and tablet PC applications.

The project extended its support to the Korean language club at the Department of Diplomacy, involving the active participation of 20 members. The program structure was developed in collaboration with UWED, with a focus on engaging activities to enhance students' language skills.

The success of this collaborative project underscores the shared commitment of UWED and HNKU to fostering international cooperation and cultural exchange. We express our sincere gratitude to all parties involved and eagerly anticipate continued collaboration in the future.
