On March 29 this year, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy hosted an event called “Learn English through Sport”.

This event, organized jointly by the English Department, physical education teachers and the staff of the UWED sports and fitness complex, was held with the aim of increasing students’ interest in learning English and at the same time stimulating them to engage in physical education.

As part of the competition, three teams of first-year students, consisting of 8 people, had to perform various sports exercises and write words with explanations in English on boards installed on the opposite side of the hall. The team that wrote the most correct words was declared the winner.

Second-year students of the International Law Faculty also took part in this event. Together with the teachers of the department, they served as judges.

The event “Learn English through Sport” contributed to the development of teamwork skills among students, increasing their interest in learning English and establishing friendly relations between students from different faculties.
