On March 14, 2025, a roundtable discussion on the topic "Women's health – the foundation of a strong society" was held for female students at the academic lyceum of the university of World economy and diplomacy.

The special guest of the event was Professor E’tibor Sultanova, doctor of political sciences and Chairperson of the women's council at UWED. In her speech, the professor provided detailed information to the students about the measures being taken in Uzbekistan to improve women's health, reduce the risks of various diseases, and build a healthy family. She also discussed the reforms being implemented in this field.

During the event, the academic lyceum students presented various presentations on women's health and held discussions about women who have made significant contributions to medicine. In particular, they talked about one of the founders of modern medicine Florence Nightingale, Marie Curie, who discovered radiotherapy and Sarah Gilbert, who played a key role in the development of the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine.

Additionally, Dilshoda Juraboyeva, a third-year student of the "International economic relations and management" faculty and the leader of the UWED "Leader Girls" club, conducted a presentation about the club’s goals and objectives.

The roundtable discussion, which aimed to raise awareness about women’s rights, opportunities, and their role in science and medicine, was warm and informative.
