On June 7 of this year, an international scientific and practical conference was held at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy on the topic “Ensuring the sustainable development of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the new realities of global processes.”

In addition to representatives of the UWED, scientists from foreign and domestic universities and research institutions took part in its work.

The conference discussed problems and opportunities related to sustainable development within the context of evolving global processes.

After the plenary session, 5 parallel sub-sessions were held on the following topis:

-         Institutional, economic and social vectors for ensuring economic growth and well-being of the population in the conditions of economic modernization and digitalization;

-          Effective management and sustainable development strategies;

-         Geoeconomics fragmentation: forecasts and risks;

-         Transition to a green economy: opportunities and challenges;

-         International cooperation in the context of global problems.
