On February 22-23 of this year, an international conference on “Regional Interaction and Cooperation” was held in Baghdad, organized by the Iraqi Institute for Strategic Studies together with the German Center for Applied Research and Cooperation with the East (CARPO).

The event was attended by professors of higher education institutions, specialists of research institutes, experts of analytical centers from 23 countries of the world (more than 100 people), including the USA, Switzerland, France, Finland, Great Britain, China, Pakistan, Japan, Iran, Oman, Bahrain, Jordan and others.

The event was also attended by the head of the UWED Language Education Center L. Khodjaev, who made a report on “Development of Southern Transport Corridors in the Policy of New Uzbekistan” at a panel discussion entitled “Regional Transport and Energy Corridors”.
