On February 21, 2025, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED) hosted a cultural and educational event titled "The Legacy of Babur: A Priceless Treasure." The event commemorated the 542nd anniversary of the birth of Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur, a prominent figure in Uzbek literature, a poet, writer, scholar, commander, and statesman.

The event was attended by Dr. A. Eshniyazova, a senior researcher from the Institute of Uzbek Language, Literature, and Folklore of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan; Z. Mavlanov, a descendant of the Baburid dynasty; and UWED leadership, faculty, students and pupils of the Academic Lyceum of the University.

Speakers provided comprehensive information to the students about the life and work of the great poet, his policies as a major statesman, and his constructive endeavors. Particular emphasis was placed on highlighting the educational significance of Babur's creative legacy for young people.

Students recited ghazals from Babur's works, presented theatrical performances reflecting the writer's life and work, and performed national dances and songs. The skillfully performed monologue between Babur and Khanzada was particularly noteworthy, eliciting applause from the audience and leaving a long-lasting impression on the event participants.
