An essay competition is announced among university students on the topic: "Elections-2024 through the eyes of students and young people".

The purpose of the competition is to stimulate students' research activities to improve political culture in the country.

Conditions for participation in the competition:

- Students of all faculties of UWED can take part in the essay competition.

 - The competition will be held in the nomination "Best essay among undergraduate students" (1st, 2nd and 3rd places);

- Original unpublished materials written independently by one author (co-authorship is not allowed) are accepted;

- Works submitted to the competition must logically correspond to the given topic. Plagiarism is not allowed;

- Only one work can be sent to the competition from each participant.

To participate in the competition, you must send an essay to the email address: konkursesse_2023@mail.ru no later than 23:59 on October 25, 2024

Date of announcement of the winners: October 31, 2024

 Requirements for the design of competition works

1. Qualitative:

When evaluating the works, the jury takes into account the following criteria: relevance and novelty of the presented work, depth and analytical approach to the presentation of the issue, critical thinking and use of scientific data, literacy and logic of presentation, originality of the text and correctness of the design.

 2. Technical:

- Essay language - Uzbek, Russian, English.

- The text volume should not exceed 1200 words, observe 1.5 spacing, Times New Roman (14 font size);

- All sources should be provided with bibliographic references and a list of references (Foydalanilgan adabiyotlar ro‘yxati/List of References/References);

- References and footnotes are formatted page by page;

- If there are tables, diagrams, graphs, drawings and other illustrations, they must be formatted on a separate page with numbering.
