On January 24 of this year, a round table dedicated to the "Day of Nature Reserves and National Parks" was held at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.

The event, organized jointly with the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan, was attended by the faculty and students of UWED.

The main objectives of the event were to familiarize students with unique natural places in Uzbekistan, to form knowledge of the differences between parks and nature reserves and to cultivate a caring attitude towards nature and the preservation of natural national values.

During the event, specialists from the Department of "Preservation of Natural Objects" Mirjalol Yakubov and Feruz Sindorov introduced the history of the emergence of National Parks and Nature Reserves, shared their impressions of the beauty of nature when visiting natural sites of Uzbekistan.

The information was educational, interesting and useful for the formation of environmental culture and civic responsibility for the preservation of native nature among young people.
