    On 16 December 2024, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy held an educational and methodological seminar was held on the topic "The Role of the Legal Clinic in the Educational Process".

    Representatives of NGOs and the National Center for Human Rights, members of the Legal Clinic, as well as the staff of the Department of Civil Law and International Private Law Disciplines took part in this seminar.

     During the seminar, demonstration classes were held with second-year students of the Faculty of International Law: methods for conducting practical classes were discussed - "reflection", "role-playing games in the legal process". A video recording of a mock trial related to the resolution of a dispute based on international private law was shown at the seminar.

    Methods for developing practical skills and recommendations enshrined in international conventions and treaties regarding legal ethics and the behavior of lawyers were discussed.

    Based on the results of the seminar, current issues of improving the methodology of the legal clinic were discussed and recommendations were adopted.
