On November 19 of this year, a meeting was held at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy with the Chargé d'Affaires of Bulgaria in Uzbekistan S. Rusinova, Advisor to the Rector of the University of Agribusiness and Regional Development - Chief Assistant of the Economics and Management program V. Marinova and specialist of the HORIZON program of this university M. Borisova.

During the meeting, the Bulgarian side was informed about the main areas of activity and educational process of UWED, as well as the scientific potential of the university and the projects being implemented.

In turn, the representative of the University of Agribusiness and Regional Development V. Marinova, presenting information about the educational institution, emphasized that the University is a member of the "Invest" Alliance of European Universities and implements a number of research projects in the direction of sustainable development. She also reported on the research conferences held there, student exchange, joint submission of applications for ERASMUS+ projects.

Following the meeting, the representatives of the Bulgarian side expressed interest in establishing cooperation with UWED. The parties agreed to establish regular contacts.
