A representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs held a master class at UWED on the topic: “Diplomatic and consular law”
On November 19 of this year, Deputy Head of the Department of Cooperation with Regional Organizations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Rustam Gaziev held a master class for 3rd-year students of the Faculty of International Law on the topic: “Diplomatic and Consular Law”.
The representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs explained to the students what agreements on the establishment of diplomatic relations are, the concept and functions of a foreign mission, and the basic concepts of diplomatic law (accreditation, agreement, letter of trust).
The speaker also provided information on the legal status of missions of countries to international organizations, the establishment of consular relations, consular activities, and the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the functioning of diplomatic and consular missions.
The master class examined practical issues that may arise during diplomatic and consular activities in various countries.
During the discussions, students received detailed answers to their numerous questions on the topic under consideration.
