On September 28, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy hosted the "Khan Atlas" festival, aimed at the spiritual upbringing and cultural development of the younger generation, fostering aesthetic taste, and strengthening diplomatic ties. The event also featured a broad presentation of clothing that reflects our mentality and Uzbek traditions. Among the honored guests were O. Parpiboeva, Chairperson of the State Committee for Family and Women’s Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Colonel M. Mahmudova, members of the "Girl Leader" club, residents from the Mirzo Ulughbek district, as well as alumni and students from various universities.
As part of the festival, a demonstration and distribution of Uzbek national costumes were organized, which helped to increase interest both among our people and beyond. The event served as a platform for showcasing the culture of Uzbek attire and discussing issues related to national popularization, respect for national values, and the formation of aesthetic taste among students and the broader audience, as well as the harmonization of traditions with modern fashion trends.
O. Parpiboeva, addressing family policy matters and representing the State Committee for Women, emphasized that Uzbek girls and women have always distinguished themselves by their unique language, wisdom, and the beauty of their national costumes. The products dedicated to the demonstration of traditional Uzbek attire will contribute to strengthening the youth’s respect for our cultural values and the importance of preserving traditions.
