On September 26 of this year, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy hosted a spiritual and educational event on the topic: “Effective ways to eliminate problems such as crime, drug addiction and immorality that negatively affect the moral and ethical state of young people”.

It was attended by the head of the criminal law department of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Lieutenant Colonel Maksud Kalandarov, the head of the crime prevention department of the Mirzo Ulugbek district internal affairs department, Lieutenant Colonel Bakhadyr Yormatov, as well as the faculty, tutors and first-year students.

    M. Kalandarov and B. Yormatov delivered informative reports in which they raised current issues related to crime and drug addiction. They shared successful examples of preventive programs aimed at forming a healthy lifestyle among young people, and also suggested various methods of involving students in active forms of leisure and social activity.

The event participants held an open discussion during which students could ask questions and express their opinions on possible solutions to these problems.
