UWED hosted a ceremonial event dedicated to Teachers and Mentors Day
On September 30 of this year, a festive event dedicated to the Day of Teachers and Mentors was held at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.
First Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Akram Umarov congratulated the faculty and the entire staff of UWED on the holiday. In honor of the holiday, 13 teachers and mentors, noted for their active and effective work, were awarded certificates and cash prizes.
For significant contribution to the development of international cooperation and strengthening of external relations, a number of university employees were awarded diplomatic ranks.
The director and actors who played the main roles in the feature film "Ibrat" took part in the festive event. The director of the film, Jahongir Kasymov, spoke about how the filming of the film dedicated to the life and work of the Uzbek poet, historian, linguist and traveler Iskhokhon Ibrat was carried out.
Then the film was shown, which became a memorable end to the festive program.
