UWED representatives took part in a webinar on the topic “Women of the new Uzbekistan: today and in the future”

On November 21 of this year, a webinar on the topic “Women of the New Uzbekistan: Today and in the Future” was organized at Tashkent State Agrarian University jointly with the Family and Women’s Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Association of Women Scientists of Tashkent, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED), and the Medical Academy.
The faculty, researchers, and students of UWED took part in the event organized to recognize the work of women scientists, support young researchers, and broadly involve them in science, and increase scientific potential.
Speaking at the event, First Deputy Chairman of the Family and Women’s Committee Ozoda Parpibaeva noted that the priority task is to strengthen the role of women in the life of society and the state, including creating greater opportunities for pursuing science.
Doctor of Political Science, Chairperson of the UWED Council on Women’s Issues, Professor E’tibor Sultanova especially noted that knowledge and professional future are important in raising girls, that an educated woman is the wealth and strength of society, and also focused on the role of women in science and diplomacy, as well as their achievements in these areas. She emphasized the importance of increasing the activity of women in diplomacy, expanding their participation in international relations and promoting their development as highly qualified diplomats. In addition, the Chairperson of the UWED Council on Women's Issues gave her recommendations, suggestions and advice to young girls about sharing her scientific path and achievements as students and graduates of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.
As part of the webinar, a number of renowned scientists gave lectures on current topics.
