    On November 21 of this year, a webinar on the topic “Women of the New Uzbekistan: Today and in the Future” was organized at Tashkent State Agrarian University jointly with the Family and Women’s Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Association of Women Scientists of Tashkent, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, and the Medical Academy.

    The faculty, researchers, and students of UWED took part in the event organized to recognize the work of women scientists, support young researchers, and broadly involve them in science, and increase scientific potential.

    Speaking at the event, First Deputy Chairman of the Family and Women’s Committee Ozoda Parpibaeva noted that the priority task is to strengthen the role of women in the life of society and the state, including creating greater opportunities for pursuing science.

    The Chairman of the Women's Advisory Council of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy on Women's Issues Etibor Sultanova spoke about the prospects for a professional future in the field of education for girls. She emphasized that an educated woman can make a great contribution to the development of science and promote the progress of society.

    As part of the webinar, a number of renowned scientists gave lectures on current topics.
