On May 27 of this year, at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, the First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, Rector of UWED Sodyq Safoev held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Austria to Uzbekistan Matthias Radostich.

During the meeting, the special importance of cooperation between UWED and leading Austrian universities in the field of diplomatic relations was noted.

The parties expressed interest in developing joint training programs, organizing internships and academic exchanges. The possibility of creating training and advanced training courses for the university teaching staff with the participation of Austrian specialists was considered.

         The meeting was held in a constructive atmosphere and became another step towards the development of bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and Austria in the field of education and diplomacy.
