On July 15 this year, a solemn ceremony of awarding bachelor’s degrees to graduates of the 2022-2023 academic year was held at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.

By tradition, the event was attended by representatives of the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, heads of diplomatic missions of Uzbekistan abroad and honorary graduates. “I hope UWED graduates will use all the opportunities of New Uzbekistan. Sincere congratulations to all parents. Today's graduates will bring benefits not only to their personal growth, but also to society,” said the First Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs D. Amanov.

“I am a graduate of UWED. Many employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are also graduates of this university. I wish today’s graduates great success,” said Deputy Foreign Minister G. Fazilov

During the event, leaders and honorary graduates-heads of our country’s representative offices abroad also sent their words of congratulations.

“The graduates of each university are truly a special pride. Despite the fact that our university is already 31 years old, its graduates work in different countries and continents of the world. Dear alumni, keep on researching and learning even when you finish your education and make our university famous with your successes. I and other graduates of our university are proud to have studied at this university, no matter what part of the world we are in,” said Ulugbek Lapasov, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the UN Office in Geneva and other international organizations.

Another busy academic year came to an end, and the Union of active, progressive-minded graduates left UWED University again. There is no doubt that the skills and abilities acquired by them during the years of study will help them to prove themselves in any professional field and become worthy representatives of UWED.
