Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) - Goal 4 "Quality Education" calls for the provision of modern, inclusive and quality knowledge to every member of society. Within the framework of this goal, on April 22 of this year, at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, the Department of System Analysis and Mathematical Modeling of the Faculty of International Economics and Management held a round table with business experts on the topic "Efficiency in Management: Practical Experience and Knowledge."

The participants included the founder of “Simurg Main Construction”, the founder of “Legenda Game Zone”, the owner of the cheerful sock shop chain “7daysocks”, the founder of the manufacturing company “Golden Corn Oil”, the commercial director of “Minor” Mall and “Chinar” Mall, as well as the project manager for approximately 10 shopping complexes; the PR director of “Credit Express”, Hasan Khabibullaev — who previously held executive roles at “HM” and “Makro”; Otabek Hakimov, the director of the international company “Kiyim Textile”; and Aziz Vafoev, founder of “Business Factory”, collector, and entrepreneur.

To spark youth interest in the topic, the event featured interactive presentations, infographics, case studies, and real-life examples to emphasize the role of sustainable development goals in daily life. The event also showcased opportunities for modern, interactive, and practice-oriented education; methods to improve digital literacy in management; international entrepreneurship; effective leadership; e-commerce and its impact; goal-setting systems; strategic planning; and HR topics.

To enhance the quality of education and raise youth knowledge levels, participants were presented with real business cases. These enabled students to explore entrepreneurial challenges, sharpen decision-making skills, and practice social responsibility, leadership, and teamwork through interactive Q&A sessions.

Additionally, students received practical recommendations on how to initiate and manage management-related projects and innovative ventures.

At the end of the discussion, entrepreneurs hosted a prize-based quiz to reinforce the participants’ knowledge. The winners were awarded exclusive gifts and special access to expert-led programs. Quality education, as highlighted in SDG Goal 4, is essential for cultivating knowledgeable, skilled, independent, and proactive citizens.

This event made a meaningful contribution toward empowering participants to realize their potential and increase engagement in sustainable development.
