US Ambassador Visits University of World Economy and Diplomacy
On October 22 of this year, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy hosted the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States to Uzbekistan Jonathan Henick.
During the visit, an open and constructive dialogue with the students and teachers of the university took place.
During the meeting with the faculty and students of UWED, the Ambassador spoke about the key stages in the development of American-Uzbek relations, priority areas of bilateral cooperation. Particular attention was paid to regional security issues, as well as the upcoming presidential elections in the United States in 2024.
UWED teachers, graduate students and students actively participated in the discussion, expressed their opinions on the role of the United States in world politics and the impact of the upcoming elections on international relations.
In turn, Jonathan Henick answered numerous questions in detail, providing the meeting participants with a lot of significant and interesting information. This visit of a high-ranking diplomat provided a unique opportunity for UWED students to deepen their knowledge of international diplomacy and modern trends in world politics.
