On April 10 of this year, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy hosted a spiritual and educational event called "The Great Sahibkiran Amir Temur - the Mirror of Our History", timed to coincide with the 689th anniversary of the birth of Sahibkiran Amir Temur.

The event was attended by the leadership of UWED, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor and Senior Researcher of the State Museum of the History of Temurids Abdumajid Madraimov, historian of the University of Public Security Jumaboy Rakhimov, as well as faculty and students of UWED.

First Vice-Rector for Youth Issues and Spiritual and Educational Affairs O. Yusupjanov made an opening speech, who briefly highlighted the life and work of our great ancestor Amir Temur.

During the event, historians spoke about the creative activities of the great Sahibkiran Amir Temur throughout his life and his contribution to the development of science and education. They also shared their thoughts on the importance of the rich spiritual heritage left by Amir Temur and the Timurids in the education of modern youth.

In the artistic part of the event, students presented theatrical performances, poems, musical compositions and songs glorifying the image of Sahibkiran, as well as a variety of dance numbers. Creative performances were met by the audience with great interest and warm impressions.
