On October 19 of this year, employees of the Career Center at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy took part in the TalentforBIZ event, organized at the Hyatt Regency Tashkent hotel.

The TalentforBIZ project, implemented since 2019 under the auspices of the Human Resources Directorate under the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Turkey, aims to unite employers and promising youth in key international centers to facilitate their career growth.

At the opening, it was noted that this event, popular among young people, aims to create a bridge between Uzbek youth and international Turkish companies, offering students and university graduates a wide range of career opportunities in both countries. These opportunities include employment, internships and educational programs.

The event was attended by such well-known Turkish companies as Aselsan, Halkbank and Turkish Airlines, as well as heads of Turkish enterprises operating in Uzbekistan, including Çalık Enerji, Koç İnşaat and Kontrolmatik.

Information sessions, interviews and discussions related to career development took place here.

As part of the forum, employees of the Career Center at UWED held talks with representatives of a number of leading companies on holding joint events and establishing partnerships in matters of organizing internships and employment.

It was reported that registration for the event is carried out through the Turkish digital career platform Qobiliyat Eshigi, which will soon be available to provide career services to students and graduates of all universities in Uzbekistan. It is also possible to apply for TalentforBIZ interviews in Tashkent through this platform. Participants are advised to fill out their profiles in Uzbek, Turkish and English through Qobiliyat Eshigi, updating information in a timely manner to more accurately present their skills and competencies to employers.

As noted by Turkish representatives, in order to strengthen cooperation in the field of human resources, after Uzbekistan, TalentforBIZ will be held in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
