    On March 25, 2025, a conference titled "Central Asia Through the Eyes of Young Scientists: Challenges and Opportunities for Sustainable Development" was held at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy under the auspices of the Faculty of International Relations. The event brought together young researchers, master's and doctoral students from various universities of Uzbekistan, as well as experts, representatives of government agencies and NGO’s to discuss key challenges and prospects for sustainable development of the region.

    During the conference, participants explored a wide range of issues related to political and economic processes in the region, as well as cooperation strategies between Central Asia and other countries. Topics discussed included the foreign policies of the region's countries, the development of a “green economy,” and opportunities for integration and modernization.

    The conference provided a platform for the exchange of ideas and experiences among young researchers, government officials and representatives of civil society institutions, helping to strengthen ties between the scientific communities of Uzbekistan. Participants noted the importance of joint efforts in solving urgent problems of the region and emphasized the need for further development of scientific cooperation. UWED representatives voiced recommendations aimed at optimizing the processes of interaction and knowledge exchange, which will certainly contribute to more effective solution of urgent problems and strengthening partnerships between various sectors. Following the conference, a collection of materials from all participants in the event, as well as all submitted articles that have passed the selection process, will be published.
