On December 14 of this year, an event called “Learn English through Sport” was held at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.

The purpose of this event, organized by the Department of English, was to increase students’ interest in learning English and at the same time motivate them to do physical education.

As part of the competition, four teams of 10 first-year students performed various sports exercises, while simultaneously writing sports terms with explanations in English on a board installed on the opposite side of the hall. The team that wrote the largest number of correct words was declared the winner.

The “Learn English through Sport” event contributed to the development of teamwork skills among students, increased their interest in learning English and the establishment of friendly relations between students from different faculties.
