During the visit of the dean of the Faculty of International Relations of UMED, Sh. Arapov, to Almaty (Republic of Kazakhstan) on March 5-6 2023, negotiations were held with representatives of the delegation of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University led by the Dean of the Faculty of International Relations, L. Delavarova. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the current state and prospects of cooperation in the academic and scientific spheres.

During the meeting, the parties discussed a plan of events to establish programs for student exchange at the bachelor's and master's levels, faculty exchange, and academic mobility.

Within the framework of the visit, Sh. Arapov attended international scientific and practical conference “Central Asia: Experts' perspectives in a new geopolitical and geo-economic reality”.
