UWED students were introduced to the socio-economic consequences of climate change
On December 12 of this year, an educational event on the topic: "Climate change and its socio-economic consequences" was held at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.
The event, which was held under the leadership of the teacher of the Department of International Economics Suriya Turayeva, not only discussed the problems associated with climate change, but also ways to solve them. The discussion was about how to combat climate change and adapt to new conditions. In particular, they talked about practical measures aimed at the efficient use of water resources, the development of green energy and environmental protection against the backdrop of global climate change.
Also, in order to improve the knowledge and activity of students in ecology, interactive exercises and group developments on the analysis of problem situations were held.
The participants of the meeting spoke about the importance of developing environmental responsibility among young people, the need to involve them in environmental protection.
The event was attended by the head of the center "Five Important Initiatives" Sh. Shakirova, tutors of the faculties of "International Relations" and "International Economics and Management", as well as 3rd year students.
