    On November 29 of this year, on the eve of the 32nd anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, an event on the topic “The New Edition of the Constitution – A Strong Guarantee of Youth Rights” was held at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.

    The members Hushvaqt Hayitov, a deputy of the Legislative Chamber of the Supreme Court of Uzbekistan, Farhod Subanov, a responsible officer from the Appeals Department of Authorized Person of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Human Rights (Ombudsman) and Gulnoza Ismailova, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy met with the teachers and students of the UWED Academic Lyceum.

    In their speeches, they noted the basic principles of state youth policy and highlighted the features of the new version of the Constitution, in terms of guaranteeing the rights of young people and encouraging their active participation in the socio-political life of the country.

    During the event, interactive Q&A sessions were organized for students, along with quizzes conducted in group settings. The winners were awarded certificates and gifts from the Authorized Person of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Human Rights (Ombudsman).
