On November 20 of this year, the faculty of the Department of Uzbek and Russian Languages, as well as students of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, visited a citizens' meeting of the Uymavut mahalla in the Kibray district of the Tashkent region.
The event was held as part of the implementation of the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev “One intellectual - the spiritual patron of one mahalla.”
The main purpose of the visit was to establish systematic work with the makhalla community for spiritual, educational and cultural support of residents. The UWED team interacted with mahalla activists, including A. Toshmatova, responsible for Gender issues, MCC Chairman S. Aripov, prevention inspector M. Mirkoshimov, as well as the director of the 15th school and head of the information resource center L. Zieeva.
One of the important events of the day was children's drawings on the theme “The Constitution is our happiness.” The event was aimed at developing creative potential and supporting children from low-income families. The participants presented their works, reflecting their perception of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, under the motto “The Constitution is in my eyes.”
The jury selected the best drawings from all the submitted works. Talented participants were awarded diplomas and memorable gifts. The awards have become a symbol of recognition of their creative efforts and encouragement for further development.
The event in the Uymouth mahalla was an important step in the implementation of the initiative aimed at strengthening interaction between educational institutions and local communities. It demonstrated how joint efforts can help educate the younger generation in a spirit of respect for the laws of the country and spiritual values.
