On November 13 of this year, an online meeting of representatives of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy with employees of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Japan was held.

The event was attended by the head of the Center for Language Education L. Khodjaev, heads of the departments of "Oriental Languages", "International Economics" and "International Finance and Investments", as well as the head of the international department Gavkhar Mirkhalilova.

The Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Japan was represented by the Counselor of the Embassy Muzaffar Jalilov.

During the meeting, the need to deepen cooperation in the field of education with leading universities in Japan was emphasized.

The importance of establishing partnerships in matters of academic exchange between professors and researchers of UWED and higher education institutions in Japan, conducting joint research work, as well as participating in international conferences, scientific and practical seminars held at universities in Japan was especially noted.

The issue of organizing and holding a series of lectures and a master class by representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Tokyo was discussed. Following the meeting, the parties agreed to further expand and strengthen cooperation in the scientific, academic and cultural spheres between UWED and the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Japan.
