On November 11 this year, Uzbek State University of World Languages ​​hosted an international scientific and practical conference on the topic "Russian Language: Traditions and Innovations in Education and Training".

The conference, held on the basis of cooperation, was also attended by professors and teachers of the Department of Uzbek and Russian Languages ​​of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Uzbekistan Oleg Malginov, opening the conference and addressing the audience, emphasized the importance of preserving the Russian language as the language of international communication.

Teachers from Russia, Uzbekistan, Belarus and Kazakhstan also spoke at the conference. UWED Professor G.M. Rakhmatullaeva spoke in detail about innovative methods of teaching the Russian language in her speech and noted the importance of knowledge of the language in diplomatic relations. At the conference, linguists shared their experience in teaching the Russian language and presented new teaching methods.
